Although I didn’t film this with my K-x, I thought it would be interesting to post. On Thursday a flash storm blew into NYC in the blink of an eye and actually developed into 2 confirmed tornados. This was filmed with my flip camera, looking out my window towards Manhattan. It was intense.

Color is a powerful tool in photography. I use it all the time to make some of my HDR photos really pop. While browsing this morning I found a pretty good article on lifehacker.com that explains some basics about color theory, and then goes on to show you how to use color as a tool.

I thank all my followers and readers for their support and encouragement, and assure you that there is more to come!

Their current piece is no different. A set of photographs that (among other things) show the scale of the Gulf oil spill and the relative helplessness of us to control it.
